Daniel Hayes(Animation) Spring Semester Final

My final for design foundations, the project was to help train me to begin a new phase Graphic Arts and New Media.  The emphasis in the Studio Art program that I plan to pursue.

meeko the action hero

This project taught me how to expand into a dimension in an area that I have never been before, making videos. This project taught me how to make a video using a cat, his toy, and making a story about it here is a glimpse of the story.  The evil lazer light is trying to find a way to blow up the planet, our hero meeko must stop that light from destroying our world. Will he succeed? Find out by the click of the button.

Satellite part two (student show/fall semester final)

This was one of the two projects that made it to the student show this part was the more difficult of the two paintings (both were hard) it took me 14 hours about to make these, the most memorable project I have done thus far.

My first time making books, wire edge bind, japanese stab stitch, and coptic stitch. Japanese stab stitch on the left, wire edge bind and coptic stitch on the right. The japanese stab stitch was the easiest book, the coptic was fairly easy, the wire edge bind took me at least three to five times to get everything right.
